Success Starts Now is a campaign that unites our global community. It reflects a belief that has always been at the heart of Dress for Success and its network partners: when a woman is ready to move forward, opportunities should be timely and accessible.

For almost three decades, Dress for Success has supported women at pivotal moments; we at Dress for Success Greater London have represented the organisation in London since 2015. Together, the legacy of our impact is strong, proven and trusted. And with this as our foundation, we move forward with clarity, confidence and purpose. This next chapter represents the evolution of our work, not a new direction. It builds on what we do best, both in London and globally, and responds to a defining moment for women and work.

Igniting Careers. Transforming Futures

The future of work is changing rapidly. The World Economic Forum projects that almost 40% of core job skills will change by 2030, driven by technology, automation and AI. A recent report suggested that, in the UK, up to 3 million jobs could be displaced by AI over a number of years, at pace with the adoption of this technology across the wider economy. However, the same report states that advancements in AI and technology will also create jobs, offsetting losses yet leading to a more dynamic labour marketplace.

Today, success increasingly depends on adaptability, reskilling and access to timely support. We must rise to meet the challenges of an unprecedented job market and the disproportionate impact this has on marginalised and minoritised women. Women continue to face disproportionate barriers. Economic participation and opportunity remain the slowest-closing gender gaps globally, and, at the current pace, true parity is more than a century away.

Ambition is not the issue. Access is. Careers are evolving, and the women we serve need faster, more flexible pathways to skills, support and economic mobility. Our new tagline, ‘Igniting Careers. Transforming Futures,’ represents the full scope of our mission. Because we’re not just focusing on the today: we’re helping women to prepare for the workplace of tomorrow, too.

Success Starts Now is a response to these challenges by building on what already works. At Dress for Success Greater London, we aim to expand our programmes to include greater access to digital learning, thereby strengthening long-term pathways to success. This reflects the focuses of our global partners and the needs of the women we support. We are focused on helping women to develop sustainable, long-term careers and economic stability. This next phase extends our reach and prepares more women for the careers of the future.
