Power of Women Awards 2023

For 2023, we once again gathered (in person!) to host the Power of Women Awards. After a two-year semi-hiatus, where we took our Power of Women events online, we came together to honour the achievements and successes of those who shared our journey.

 

The event started on a celebratory note, as our Chair and Founder, Juanita Ingram, spoke of our charity’s resilience in the face of uncertainty. We weathered the Covid-19 storm to return stronger, committing to our growth and the clients we serve.

 

The theme for International Women’s Day 2023 was ‘Embrace Equity’, and we reflected on the actionable changes that are needed to move to a place of gender equality. Juanita opened the event with this idea in mind, setting an inspirational tone for the evening.

 

Speakers included Ben Shephard, Dr. Alisha L Jones and Angue Greaves.
