Power of Women Awards 2020

We celebrated our fifth anniversary and fourth annual Power of Women ceremony in 2020. The Power of Women event took place across two dates, with the awards evening on 3 March and a discussion panel on the 5 March. The event was sponsored by some of our corporate partners, including Weils, Gotshal & Manges, Adrianna Papell, Arnold Porter and Purpose Productions Inc.

 

We honoured five former clients at our 2020 ceremony and welcomed an inspirational guest speaker, the fashion designer and former model, Melissa Odabash.

 

As with previous years, we celebrated those who have made waves in their respective fields and industries, including Joanna Dai, Nick Ede, Annie Price, Net a Porter, Yetunde Hofmann, Joi Gordon (former CEO of Dress for Success Worldwide), Sharon Barner, Caroline Bedford, and Weils, Gotshal & Manges, among others.

 

Our panel discussion focused on the theme for International Women’s Day 2020: ‘Each for Equal’, a call for more gender balance in the world. Our panellists included Kathryn Dooks, Jenny Winch, Pretty Sagoo and Yetunde Hofmann, and the discussion was led by our Chair and Founder, Juanita Ingram.
