Dress for Success Greater London Featured on BBC Radio London

Last week, Dress for Success Greater London joined Shay Grewal, live on BBC Radio London, to talk about the impactful work we do.

Shay spoke to our Executive Director, Samantha Latouche, one of our amazing volunteers, Melanie Wellard, and Dress for Success Greater London client, Sherry. The three discussed their shared passion for our work, with Melanie telling Shay,

'I started volunteering a few months ago and, I’ve volunteered at various places, but when I got there [to DfSGL], I just felt like I belonged…I found my place. This is where I feel a true passion.'

Our client, Sherry, who attends our series of workforce development programmes, explained how the kindness, warmth, and sense of community she found at Dress for Success Greater London has helped her,

‘The welcome smiles you get from the moment you walk in, and the warmth of knowing you’re not on your own. And the sisterhood you make: the friends, the networking, the care: everything is amazing.’
