As a Patron of Dress for Success Greater London, I realised the importance of empowering women and what they wear inside and out. Having spent 20+ years in a radio studio, and feeling invisible, fashion was never at the top of my list, why should it be? I was invisible!!
However, through my daughters, through social media, and especially through becoming an award recipient and then a Patron for Dress for Success Greater London, I’ve realised the importance and inspiring energy behind putting your clothing together to make yourself feel great.
When it comes to dressing, inside out, breast wear, and breast health is very very important. As women having breasts enhances our femininity and sexuality but breasts are also an issue when the C word is spoken.
We are hoping that the InstaLives throughout the month of October will create enlightenment, inspiration and give information as well as answers questions on an emotional level and also shed a little light that isn’t readily available amongst the medical profession.
Each week we have an incredible woman share her journey and experience, whether it’s in protection and/or prevention or her personal journey from genetics through to finding the magical opportunities provided by her “prickly thorn”.
We want to bring real women, with real stories, to provide real support, advise and sisterhood in the light of adversity.
